You're right of course.
But I feel that even though Naruto is the main character-heck the series is named after him- but he's really overlooked (sort of) and underplayed most of the time. His past is also sketchy at best and more often than not ignored. As if twelve years of neglect and psychological abuse was nothing. NOTHING! Blasphemous! As if it couldn't have left any scars, invisible as they were. And for what's it worth.. the author seemed awfully focused on Sasuke. He even admits that the Uchiha is his favorite character. A shame really...but oh well, this way we fans get more than enough motivation to write more fanfiction about him.

this story is seriously awesome and i think you should continue it cause this would be an awesome multi chapter fic

I so wish you would write about what happens after Naruto said all of that! Imagine everyone else's reactions, plus it would be amazing to know how Naruto knows all of that!

This is pretty awesome... it would have been just great if Naruto actually did this in the anime and Manga... This is a really good one shot although I would love to see more... you should write more to it maybe make a short story out of it.

I actually want a continuation of this, something short to be honest...don't know why to be honest...but it was quite interesting actually reading about Naruto knowing so much at such a random point in the story. I want to know HOW he found all that crap out, I can imagine most of it was Kurama, just eavesdropping seems highly unlikely...
Either way, I liked it. I specially like one statement you wrote...about what it means to break a child's innocence...as sad as it is, it's pretty easy to become a "monster" in this world.

Oh, if only Naruto had inherited a kekkei genki that gave him the gift of foresight, so he could've done this during the chunjn exams. So many problems could've been avoided if he could've done that. I felt like that during Neji's story and even more so during Sasuke's many rants. How could they ever think they had it worse than Naruto, the outcast orphan of the village? Both Naruto's and Gaara's backstories make me cry. None of the other Leaf Ninja have anything to complain about compared to them. Yeah Neji and Sasuke, your lives stink, but you both still had lives at least ten times better than Naruto or Gaara!
