I would go for a Darcy Lewis pairing. You'd basically have to invent a character for Pietro and I think Carrie and Wanda are a little too similar to have interesting chemistry. Someone like Darcy could prompt Carrie to come out of her shell, and Carrie could teach Darcy that it's necessary to slow down sometimes.

You've got a pretty good start here, but later down the line scene recreations with a little bit of Carrie stuff isn't going to be enough. What would make this fic great is if Carrie grew out of her wallflower instincts, went on her own solo adventure, and she a significant effect on the events of the MCU. How do you do that? I have no idea. But you've got talent, I think you can make it work.

This is the best Carrie/Avengers crossover I've read in my life. I love how you incorporated Carrie into the movie. I get the feeling she's gonna play a major role in the fight against Loki. I'm fine with any of the pairings involving Carrie. I think S.H.I.E.L.D is gonna catch wind of Rachel Lang and bring her in before Loki gets her. I love the Bruce flashback, it truly gave me clarity over their past.

I especially love the Thor and Carrie moment where he tells her she's worthy. That gave me the older brother and baby sister family feel seeing how Carrie needs that type of guidance to make her feel centered and happy.

Since it's a new year, would you be willing to post another chapter and show us the next step in Carrie's fight?
