What a lovely piece. Thank you for sharing this well written fantasy. When I was young I had similar fantasy's about meeting girls in heroic situations. What Life taught me was that, like me, girls were looking for someone to listen to them, take part in their fantasy/reality, and communicate their own feelings and thoughts in as honest a way as possible. Your story seems to reflect this conclusion.
It is perhaps worth noting that each of my loves were met while I was doing a small charitable thing; certainly not an heroic event like a kidnapping rescue as in your story which lends your tale much more exciting drama than my reality.
Still, I would like to read more of your writing; my current partner enjoys sharing impressions of what we read, and while she is more the psychological mystery reader; she appreciates the way you combine the fantasy of Harry Potter's world with the reality of criminal investigation procedure. I enjoy your work to. Thank you very muck for sharing your work.

"That old man" must be Dumbledore! I mean, who else but ignorant wizards who wore old fashioned robe? I guess this is not the first time he did this, tailing Harry (and obliviate everyone in the process) whenever someone catch the signs of abuse on Harry. That meddling, manipulative old geezer.

I liked the pace and detail in the story. It could so easily be the beginning of a longer story. I can just imagine the turns and twists of just getting to or even not going to Hogwarts. I have added this to my favorite story list.
