ReillyJade chapter 1 . 5/5/2014 Amber, I apologize a thousand times over for not reviewing this sooner. I did read it on mobile once you posted it, but just kind of... forgot to come back and review. Whoops. I'm so sorry. :/ Regardless, this was absolutely lovely, and I thank you so very much for writing it! The banter between Anthony and Terry at the beginning is exactly how I imagine their bromance, and Parvati's gentle teasing seems appropriate; I've always thought her to be the more extroverted of the two. I love the stumbling blocks you've set up for Anthony and Padma. They kind of reminded me of Ron and Hermione, just... tamer, haha. The nervousness about the ball seemed fitting, and backing out on the decision to ask a girl at the last second is exactly what most fourteen-year-old boys will do. (I teach this age group so I see this behavior every day, and it was super adorable to read about here – and so accurately depicted, too!) And the end... ugh, so sweet. I've been reading a lot of tragedy-centric stories about the war in recent months, so it was really nice to see a happy story related to it. And I'm thrilled you've joined the Anthony/Padma ship! It's severely underrated (probably because most people forget Anthony's even a character, sadly), so whenever I hear its grown on someone I get super excited and fangirly. :D Thanks again for this! Honestly, I adored it. :) |
