EricFan71 chapter 43 . 5/4
I really need to read a continuation of this story, ASAP!

There are some writers and/or stories I can re-read repeatedly without getting tired of them and you are both with this story.

Please come back to this soon!

GlassMazeGazer chapter 42 . 4/9
But creepy Bill is still alive & lurking.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 38 . 4/9
They’ve been dancing around Sookie’s nonsense for weeks & this is it? And why does she fall asleep so often & randomly. She’s very young. Unless she’s diseased she should have energy in spades.

Before making her break from Bill she had been considering sex with him and they were not on the road to marriage. So why here is she telling herself she should only be with one man & he should be her husband. WTH? I get that the decision to take two mates (& I’m thinking she still doesn’t grasp what being a vampire’s mate is) is a HUGE decision, throwing in the husband bit is crap at this point.

This Sookie often makes me feel like she was spun around & around & around repeatedly, blindfolded, then lowered into the center of a giant corn maze to try to find her way. Geeze...
GlassMazeGazer chapter 20 . 4/9
Ugh! If Jason were a live person he’d be a waste of flesh & oxygen. As a fictional character he’s a waste of ink &/or pixels...
GlassMazeGazer chapter 19 . 4/9
Thank you for a tiny glimmer of hope that Eric has at least an iota of a chance to make some promise with Sookie. I was considering giving up.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 17 . 4/9
That’s it? That’s all I get of Eric? What was the point of him showing up at the end at all? I feel another tantrum brewing (my own, again).
GlassMazeGazer chapter 16 . 4/9
NO FORGIVENESS! I WANT ERIC! I WANT ERIC! I WANT ERIC!

Seems like so far in this story that *says* it’s mating ERIC, Sookie, & Godric, if Sookie is around Eric is either elsewhere or mostly being portrayed as an unappealing dick. I don’t wanna read Sookie/Godric pairings. If Eric’s not in it, I’m not particularly interested. A TB type Godric (as opposed to the Godric/Godfrey of SVM) is an interesting character for variety, but he isn’t an interest for me — I’m good if he’s along for the ride, but NOT WITHOUT ERIC.

K — tantrum over, for now...
GlassMazeGazer chapter 15 . 4/9
Well, I was excited that Eric was back on deck, was. I’m fine when Godric is along for the trip, but I’m in these stories for the Eric characters.

It’s like our author wants Sookie to dislike Eric permanently, or at least until the last five chapters of the story or so where there’s no time left to enjoy him getting to enjoy being with Sookie. The basement, the harsh treatment of the prisoner, etc. are all reasonably within character for an Eric, but him being careless about Sookie’s safety is pretty out of character. Should I assume he thought it was safe since Godric & Pam we’re right there? Even so, I see him as generally more watchful and personally attentive to keeping her safe even while being or just pretending to be an ass.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 14 . 4/9
GAG! Sam. Eeeeeeww! I haven’t yet seen a Sam character that didn’t make my skin crawl.

Will Godric be letting Sookie know anytime soon that while she’s thinking (consciously at least) that they’re friends, he considers himself to be courting her — oh yeah — and that being HIS (& Eric’s/THEIRS) is already assumed? Will he be helping Eric to make any inroads with Sookie? After all, G & E intend to share her, but even once she consciously gives in to her attraction to Godric, the idea that he wants to share her with Eric is a pretty big stretch for a sheltered virgin so prudish & naïve that she embarrasses herself when she thinks about masturbating. Godric could help things along with subtle hints that he’s okay with attractions developing with Eric TOO and even helping her better see who Eric is underneath his public persons.

I’m also confused & curious that there haven’t been conversations between G/S/E regarding their suspicions about Bill’s mission to secure Sookie for the queen or even about safety concerns for Sookie with an angry Bill living next door while G & E are way over in Shreveport. The night Sookie met Godric, after he carried her down from the roof, he & Eric talked about keeping her from being alone with Bill, but then theit concerns just seemed to disappear.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 11 . 4/9
I’m unclear as to why Sookie passed out.
GlassMazeGazer chapter 10 . 4/9
A very well written chapter. No wasted words, no unnecessary meandering, and the emotion & anticipation ran high all of the way through. Well done!
GlassMazeGazer chapter 9 . 4/9
I feel there is a misstep here in terms of depicting Sookie’s intelligence & deductive reasoning abilities. She should know — canonically speaking — that Eric ‘the Viking’ is approximately 1,000 years old because Bill would have told her & well, it’s not a far stretch to estimate that fairly closely by checking the date range of the ‘Viking era,’ so asking Eric’s maker about Jane Eyre era trappings makes no sense. Vikings predated that kind of horse & carriage transportation by a long way & Godric has to be older than Eric to be his maker. (Similarly, but less glaring & more minor in detail was the comment in the previous chapter that Sookie had never seen a rose that wasn’t red before. Gran was an avid gardener & with all their land would likely have had several species of roses, not to mention Sookie would surely have seen other colors of roses in florist windows, weddings, funerals, church services, etc.)

Aw, there I was getting excited that Eric finally joined the party, but he’s still left out in the cold with Godric getting to taste what Eric’s been yearning after for ages now. Poor Eric.
