Mako and Neph's section was super cute.

I love your depiction of Zoi. So worried she won't like him anymore. And when she tries to tell him he didn't kill her, he got all concerned about what they did to try to save the Princess. He's a favorite.

And holy crap! Metalia is on Mars!? Please let Rei be okay. Jadeite was a badass getting into that cave.

I think at least one pair was very successful in the relationship department. As for the other, I wonder where things will now go. I am curious to see if Minako will be able to see the soul bond after this.

Mmm a bit of an over reaction there Venus just cuz you don't have a soul bond? Just make another one geez! Expected Mako and Ami to act that way, but the cliff hanger with Mars at the end...hoping Chaos didn't take control of her O.O nice chapter, liked seeing the diff POVs again and looks like the story is gonna get crazy in this last stretch!

Don't feel too bad about not updating a story because you got sucked into playing a video game, because I've had that happen to me a few times before. More than once I've gotten too caught up with playing Pokemon Sword to work on much anything else.

Anyway, this was a heck of a chapter. Glad things worked out well with Jupiter and Nephrite, and with Mercury and Zoisite. Should've guessed though that things wouldn't be as easy with Venus and Kunzite though. Also, I'm hoping Mars isn't possessed or something.

Looking forward to the next chapter. :)

I am so very sorry for the late review! I had to go figure out what chapter I missed and re-read (which, not bothered by, lol). I love that they are having to face their internal baggage to move on. The dream sequence at the beginning was so emotional! I think you do a fine job writing Mars. :)

I felt like the final few scenes were the strongest of this chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Really liked this backstory, and how Mars just owns it! That last line was fantastic, really captured her character perfectly. It was so sweet seeing the slow burn of Jadeite and her relationship too, and I'm a sucker for her being able to see his spirit because they loved each other so much. Great chapter!

Interesting to start this chapter with Mars' dreams. I like how it played out, seeing both her and Jadeite's dreams, and a bit of Mars' past was pretty cool. Onto the next chapter!
