This was a cute little story. It had me grinning at how Sats ended up turning the situation completely around, leaving Ryu unable to recover. Very cool. :) I am one of those that ships SatsXRyu, so I enjoy stories that feature them. Well done! :)

Ha, the Ryuko x Satsuki ending was definitely a welcome pleasant surprise! Should've seen it coming, but hey, I'm usually a sucker for most April Fools pranks!

Fortunately, I've never experienced any bad April Fool's Day pranks. People, even kids (especially kids) can be pretty mean at times. To be honest, I don't have much faith in the goodness of humanity. I'm glad the event described in this story never happened to you; when I was reading this, I was afraid at first that it was a projection of some kind of middle school trauma. :)

I liked the RyukoxSatsuki, though RyukoxMako will always be my favorite pairing.

As far as you know, is it common to write "the [family name]"? I ask because you write "the Matoi" and "the Kiryuin" in this story. It seemed a bit jarring to me, but maybe it's just me.
