This is so amazing. I love how you explore the day-to-day nature of their bond, as well as the consequences of everything that has happened to them.

I loved the opening part with the clown and how you showed Maka growing up as she began to understand everything. Lovely descriptions. I really enjoyed reading this.

(Philosopher) Yeah, what he said. For my part I will say that the black blood has always been a reminder to me on how we all have our demons inside us, and its our choice to either exorcise them, or become one with them [q for creepy, evil laugh].
(Phil) Okay, maybe that was a little off topic, but from what Philosopher has said, this is my translation: the black blood and insanity allows us to understand an a more personal level how much Soul and Maka need each other through this burden. A point is made how Soul struggled with the insanity, and Maka not only acted like an angel and cleansed him by her anti-demon wavelength and by simply giving him a reason to fight, but she also took some of that burden herself and it become a weight that they shared. That is a huge reason why they're my OPT.

Loved seeing Maka's interpretation of the madness, as a swampy forest. It really fits. Also, seeing them be so tender...ahhh, it warmed my heart! Especially the touch at the end wherein Maka visualizes Soul smiling. Awwwwww.
