Well you can make it so that natsu travels fiore for the rest of the time meeting new people and such but if you end it you can pay more atention to the other story.

Finishing the fic next chapter sounds like it would be a good idea. Personally, reading the same thing over and over would quickly bore me. Also, good job on the chapter, and the fic in general. I look forward the final installment.

I love the new chapter you posted. I would hate for this story to end. The idea of it is too good to pass up, not that I could do anything good with it. If you wanted to extend it, you could show Natsu sparring with other dragons and such to raise his strength. It would be a good idea to include some of his dragon counterpart thoughts too, otherwise we might just forget about his dragon half. You could also set up a little plot in the training that he could use as a test for his skills, or some other plot that occurs in the middle or end of his training to help pass the time. However, if none of these options resonate and create ideas in your head, then it would be best to end the story. No need to spoil an amazing fanfiction with chapters written without any effort. A writer can only wright good when they care about their work right? Anyways, I can't wait to see the next chapter. Keep up the good work!
