Wow! This was beautiful! I only have one critique. Since it's been three years since you've posted this story, I have no idea how applicable it would be now but I would like to say that when you're writing dialogue, "like this," make sure you put a comma or some sort of punctuation with it. Example:

"Yeah" Boomer spoke up.

Should be:

"Yeah," Boomer spoke up.

I just get annoyed when something as emotionally touching as this is littered with a simple, easy to correct mistake. Please, feel free to ignore me, every author is different! Great job!

Brick and blossom are such a good couple. That was a nice twist you put at the end. I thought blossom was going to die.

This is a really amazing story.
Emotions like guilt and sorrow is well displayed in this story that you can actually make the readers cry. You made the readers so engrossed in the story that i actually feared if Blossom was actually going to die.
So what I am going to say is this a really beautiful story and you should keep up the good work
