this chapter is a bit too... fast paced? I dont know, it doesn't flow as well as your writing usually does, but perhaps you just needed to fit quite a lot of plot into one chapter.

Intriguing first chapter of this third book in your fantastic series. I really do wish you could be persuaded to update the fifth book.

If Harry handed wormtail over to Dumbledore then why isn't Sirius freed? That was the main reason why he couldn't be freed in JK's books.

JK clearly states that a patronus charm is very advanced magic and is beyond NEWT level! Why on earth would they be doing it in 3rd year?! Not even professor Snape would go that far!

Another great story! You nearly had me in tears about Theo! I like how he saved Hermione and she saved him. Glad that Lupin won't be alone and that he will help Theo deal with his lycanthropy. I love that Harry, Neville, and Hermione will join Theo, his dad, and Lupin at the Quidditch World Cup. I was glad that Hermione turned down Ron's offer. So, Ron might have the same feelings as in canon, but Hermione may not. Can't wait to start reading the next story in your series.

Loved that Neville was in this chapter, especially in place of Ron. But why was Neville the one running after Ron's rat in the first place? Also, why did you give Neville Hermione's role in the scene? So, was Peter also in love Lily and jealous of James? Is that his excuse for joining up with Voldemort and betraying the Potters? Where did Theodore disappear to? Was it like Harry thought, that Snape ordered him back to the castle? We know that Hermione went for help.

Harry was an idiot to try and duel Snape. It was funny, yet understandable, when Harry thought his Outstanding grade was a zero. I continue to love Harry's conversations with the portrait of Slytherin. I like that Harry is picking up on Hermione's time-traveling.

A Wizarding Studies class for students coming from Muggle households would have been beneficial. It's a shame that JKR never thought of it.

I liked the talk between Salazar Slytherin and Harry.

Glad to see Hermione again and that Sally-Anne is helping her with Buckbeak's case. I enjoyed Harry's conversations with Draco and Theo. Of course, Rita would write a book about Harry.

Glad that Lupin will still be teaching Harry to cast a Patronus. Why did Snape give separate lessons (Patronus vs. werewolf)? I agree with Draco, Harry was being overly sentimental over the broom.

Interesting choice to have Professor Snape teach Harry and the rest of the Slytherin third years about the Patronus Charm.

Ginny is such an annoyance. I love that you left in Snape and page 394, even if you changed it to suit the story. Harry can be so dense sometimes. Snape has been his guardian long enough that Harry should know that there is a reason for assigning the werewolf essay. I thought it was funny when Colin Creevey wanted to take pictures of Sally-Anne and Theodore.
