It's a great story. The most interesting thing was to the people who would be Forsaken weren't all evil. They were mostly people who wanted to improve their world. Even Moghedien had shades of this. Sadly that their efforts would come to great evil. If only they really knew what they got into... (But they would know, eventually. But it won't matter to them later.)
It's very sad to read how madness spreaded across the world after the drilling of the Bore. Woman killing her family was the most horrifying and tragic. So, keep writing, please!

Wow - fascinating chapter. You have some really creative ideas on what happened before the WoT books. I wish there was someway this could get reprinted in an actual novel. Maybe approach Robert Jordan's wife with this material?

Absolutely amazing story. I love how you've turned the AOL into something familiar and fantastic at the same time. It's been a long time since I read WoT, but I almost enjoy not remembering who the Forsaken were. The reveals are more climactic that way. Keep up the great work!

Okay wow, I love everything about Eval and Letan. Sneaking off to flipping Venus! :DD The musing on the origin of the Horn was very interesting, too, and of course the end of the chapter, holy shit.

Joar's arc didn't go quite where I was expecting, or I should probably say not quite the way I was expecting. My mental image of Asmodean is heavily influenced by fanart by a Tumblr friend (which I can't link to you, because communication on this site sucks) and I can't imagine that Asmodean doing club music. But that actually has nothing to do with your fic. Sorry.

Kamarile and Nemene's professional relationship is really cool. And Elan being considered sufficiently important to avoid Nemene's special treatment. And just... Elan in general. :( They just write what he says about the Bore off as a delusion? Yeah, I suppose that's reasonable enough, especially as neither of them was there. Would Lanfear talk about the dreams? Anyway, I suppose I'll find out.

Mael was a...problem. By his nature he had to come from nowhere so he could be a surprise, but that gave me less time to develop him. Not really certain how it could've been fixed. Technically the timing works...Lews et al were recent students while Mael was born when Elan was very young and wasn't around much later. Dramatically, eh, not so well.

Believe it or not, that bit of trouble is the reason I've not been writing Eval as plainly bi. I'm not really sure how to handle him yet, but Aran'gar seems excessively slutty.

Okay, so, this chapter. This... chapter. To my embarrassment I had to Google the title, but... damn. You did it again. I don't usually bother with chapter titles these days because they need to be spot on or they're just eyerollworthy, and yours /are/ spot on.

I love the Mierin scene in the beginning, especially the "before it figures out my price" line.

I still can't really imagine Elan as a father, and the fact that none of the others even knew about Mael before he shows up in this fic kinda throws me off. Again, I probably imagine the Lews/Barid/Elan trio as having been a lot closer than your version. And as for Mael himself, I kind of feel that he could and should have been a really cool character but he doesn't really have time to be a character, instead just... Yeah. (I'll get over this, don't worry. :P What you have here is still the best WoT fic I've ever read, including mine, and I have a rather high opinion of some of my own fics.)

The Mierin and Lews interaction, oh goodness. A match made in both Heaven and Hell. Poor Barid, having to put up with them.

The rest is just pure heartbreak. I don't even know what to say for most of it. Elan no. :(

The chat with the Dark One was especially beautifully done. (I may have squealed a bit from sheer excitement at the "whimper at the end of time".) I love that you gave him a logical, sort of noble reason to turn.

Eep, poor Eval, what a night. Heh, I keep forgetting your Eval (apparently) isn't bisexual. (But your Ishar apparently is, which is awesome! He's such a non-typical character to be written as bisexual. I don't know if making Eval bi would fall under the "yay for representation!" or "potentially harmful use of the slutty bisexual stereotype" category. I see him as almost canonically bisexual, although RJ probably didn't intend it that way. Aaaaanyway, enough of that.)

...And I feel absurdly clever for having figured out the "death negation impede summons" thing before I read the first mention of a horn... x) Don't mind me, I'll just be over here feeling pleased with myself.

As for the part with Lews & co, I really should have reviewed this way back when because now I can't say anything intelligent about it because I know what's going to happen in the next chapter. I just really love the dynamics you've got within the group

You know, it's strange, Tremaile...I have essentially no idea which characters have been less explored in fanfiction (aside from the obviously iconic ones-I can see how there's a lot of Ishamael fic, for instance). I haven't done a whole lot of reading fanfiction for the series. Fanfic frequently doesn't feel real to me until the series is complete, because inevitably bits of it get contradicted later. If not for that, it's possible I'd have started writing on this years ago. As it is, I only just got ahold of "River of Souls", which is helping somewhat with Demandred's portrayal.
