Saemay chapter 10 . 10/19/2014 I did not realize you had added and changed so much to this chapter beyond the second round! My mental retinas are branded with the gore, but I kind of loved it too. A historic evil and legend that makes a certain, practical sense but also tickles upon speaking the unspeakable of Hal Yorke. |
RosemaryW chapter 6 . 6/24/2014 This chapter was a fascinating character study of both Hal and Lena. Hal's refusal to accept the "Lord Harry" persona as part of himself was interesting to see - Lena's assessment of him was pretty brutal, but he probably needed to hear it! The dynamic between them is very interesting, although Lena is by far the most physically powerful of them both, Hal most definately has a power over her! Wiith her desire for and indulgence of his darker side its hard to tell if they are good for each other or if it's all going to end in tears (and bloodshed...) Either way, i'm enjoying seeing it all play out! |
Saemay chapter 6 . 5/26/2014 Oh the delightful ache and angst woven through the start and center of this chapter. Pulses of counting, cycles of apart and return. This was beautiful, poignant and terribly, painfully insightful. The cause of the split, the crutch of the split. A wonderfully wrestled thing. |
Saemay chapter 5 . 5/26/2014 Dearly thankful I didn't have to try and proof-read that. Absolutely NO way one's critical mind could stay the least bit focused through all the heat! Lovely bit of character development through the play. Adjusting, changing, growing with each other. |
RosemaryW chapter 5 . 5/18/2014 Another really enjoyable chapter, I like how you are portraying the fine balance that is Hal and Lena's relationship. Can't help but get the feeling that they are both playing a rather dangerous game... |
whimsyfox chapter 2 . 4/14/2014 Your perception of Tom's hunter's perception in the beginning of this chapter was a bit mind-blowing. And then his casual "They like variety" to Alex. lol Fantastic intro into the actual scene. I'm having visions of a T-shirt quilt of all of Lena's T-shirts. The line "I don't believe he was my father. I hope he was not." The first of his demons. And then all the horrific details. I suspected as much from Fergus's comment about the demon Hal runs from. As much as Hal is a lair and usually vague in his answers, when he opens up, he is completely honest and you've captured that well. The touches of Alex humor - gold! "I don’t know what they’re talking about, but it must have been pretty important,” Tom said. “Hal left their dirty cups on the table.” - hahahaha I did have to google translate. Dirty cups don't stand a chance! |
RosemaryW chapter 2 . 4/8/2014 Really enjoyed how you wrote Tom here, sometimes in fanfiction he seems to come across a little dim witted, but you capture him really well. It was also really nice to see Hal finally opening up to Tom and Alex and letting them see the real him, though I'm sure that all this domestic bliss is going to be short lived! Very much looking forward to seeing |
RosemaryW chapter 1 . 4/8/2014 Yay! Nice to see all of the gang back. Nice set up here, looking forward to seeing what mad adventures you're going to take us on this time... |
