I loved that little bit where Legolas is listening for the music of Arda, and also watching him reunite with his father. I could see everything so clearly, hear the rustle of clothing, the quiet breathing, it was magical to read. Really well done. |

The parts I liked the most were the trees rejoicing in Legolas's return, the difficulty with which Legolas and Gimli parted, the dream-like reunion of Legolas with his father, and the painful acknowledgement of his sea-longing and the scars of war. It beautifully written - just perfect! I loved it! |

I'd like to read a story where his father meets Gimli though, since Legolas was so very careful to keep them from meeting in this tale. I think your version of the sea longing is one of the closest to that in the book that I've ever read in a fanfiction. Awesome job. :) |
