Bad romance.

You enjoy writing these completely heart-shattering scenes, don't you? xD That last part was, just, sentimental decapitation for me. (You couldn't have written that last sentence more perfectly.) There's something about the beginning, however, that is slightly more jarring than your usual surprising-yet-fluid succession of ideas - I had to think for a bit to understand where the Vincent Valentine quip came from (I suspect is has to do with the phrase about monsters skulking in dark caves, that made Cloud think about him). Otherwise, between Sephiroth's quip about Kalm being the darkest part of the cosmos, and this about Cloud needing "additional clues" to guess the obvious - he can be so godamn sassy xD
Sephiroth practically offended by Cloud's respect, and unable to resume their fight as a result... that scene was a treat to imagine. It almost feels like they're getting tired of accusing one another, and are dangerously close to acceptance or even appreciation of one another. Again, can't wait to see where this goes!

Another story! *hyperventilates* I love this already - it perfectly describes the chemistry between Cloud and Sephiroth without the OOCness. I think you've already got me hooked on all of your Seph/Cloud stories. Can't wait for more!

Also, I love the retort Sephiroth had for Cloud. Laughed so hard at that. XD
