God's this story is so deranged!...and sadistic!...and masochistic!...and oh my god am I a horrible person for enjoying it?

I'm sorry for not reviewing sooner but... I've been crying for the past 4minutes and it's still not stopping. I can't even...I'll come back and reread this story for sure... when I'm not as emotional as I am currently.

Though it seems that even now... this soft spot I have for Tom...seems to be unchanging.

I love how this is overflowing with emotion and smut but stays resolutely sophisticated in the way the story is told. It's hard to take my time reading it, even the third time around.

Voldy didn't win...he didn't died either... Instead he felt remorse and his tattered soul became whole again... Very Touching and emotional ending... Loved it...

why am i turned on by this?

This is definitely a gem out of the masses of Tom/Voldemort fanfics. I was always looking for stories where Tom does not become a sappy boy who in the end acts like a knight in shining armor. Because Tom, esp. Voldemort, is just not that kind of a character and having a "normal" relationship is just too romanticisednothing will evee be "normal" with him. Loved the way you wrote the story, props for creativity and character development. Saving into my favourites!

I love this. I love the slight sub/dom aspects of alina and Tom's relationship. there were some spots that were kind of uncomfortable and I'd kinda think "oh no, a dom would never do that, that's wrong" but I'd stop and remind myself it's voldemort, he's going to be cruel and do things that people don't agree with. and I love the fact you proved him cruel, you kept that part of the character and didn't cover it up for the sake of a sappy story. very well written all the way through and beautiful creativity.

I actually adore how you didn't make older Tom and Voldemort a sappy romantic gentleman. For Alina or anyone else. He is cruel, there is no doubt, but you make it resoundingly clear that he needs her. Everything Alina does is for Tom, (and not going to lie, but I want someone as devoted as Alina is towards Tom for myself because hello mindless drone) and Voldemort takes absolute advantage of that. But then again, it sort of backfires into Alina's death. Twice.

This is a three year late review, but I sincerely hope you write more stories like this. You know, angst, more angst, and an almost bittersweet ending.

this ending has me conflicted. I am not happy but I want to be. there could have been more pain inflicted on him.

finally. I wanted her to die so he could feel pain.
