You should definitely write a sequel, I'd be interested in how you adjust things to fit your story.

Love the story, this is one of the first frozen fanfic I have read, once in a while I come back to read it again, I lost hope was never going to be finished, was left with the cliffhanger of Thomas dying and then you started to delete chapters. Happy you come back and actually make the story better. My only complaint is the last chapter, we need more scenes of the royal family. I don't want to be rude but if you don't want to make sequel then you shouldn't end with a open and vague ending. Please make a one shot with the family

There's something missing here. Elsa is confronting the man who is responsible for her husband's death. It seems like she'd have a little more to say to the man. Along the lines of:
"Do you know what you've put me through? And for what?
"People fear my magic and call me a monster, but it's people like you who are the real monsters."

This was an excellent read. I especially like the redemption story, of sorts, for Hans. And Iona remains a bit mysterious - friend or foe? I guess we'll never know.

Please consider getting rid of the segue for Frozen 2 though. It makes no sense and it honestly detracts from the story. In Frozen 2 Anna and Kristoff aren't married yet, whereas here they're married with kids. Also all the OCs are a generation older here, and Olaf is gone.

What a start! Baby Thomas inherited a little something? I'm so glad that Henrik seems like a good husband. Happy family moments!

AAAAAHHH. I’m so happy I found this once it was finished (I don’t know if I could have waited for updates) but I’m sad it’s over! This was so well structured and everyone was in-character. I normally don’t read anything that isn’t kristelsa, but this sucked me in and wouldn’t let me go. Good job on a great fanfic.

IT IS COMPLETE. I love this story! I'm not sure if anything didn't work, all of it was great, but maybe I could find something if I came back for re read at some point lol. If I could think of anything right now, it would have been nice to see a little more of Henrik, especially his relationship with Elsa. I also love the Frozen II inclusion at the end, would be interesting to see how that would go in this universe... Elsa in perfect control of her powers and completely incapacitating a whole army is my new aesthetic.
I’ve been so wrapped up in the story I didn’t leave reviews, but this is incredible! It’s practically a novel, and the pacing and characterizations are on point. You even got me attached to your OCs, which isn’t always an easy feat.
Thomas killing Sir Gingivere was so sad, but I hope he’s coming back in some form. Also I don’t know if I ship Thomas and Iona or if I’m supposed to, but she is amazing and I love her.
I love this story so much, and at this point after Elsa forced Mathias to abdicate, things are looking good. Hopefully they stay that way, but we still have Hans to work out. On to the next chapter!

Amazing ending

Congrats on finally completing The Ice Within! I really liked the rewritten version. I loved how you ended it where Frozen 2 starts. I am saddened that you have no plans for a sequel, though. Then again, Frozen 2 doesn't have the best ending, you know?

You hinted at it, but will you be putting your own spin on froze 2?
