Reviews for Moonlight
Elizander chapter 1 . 9/13/2014
Lovely story. Funny, well phased and a nice characterization for both Leia and Alvin.
Wee need a full M rated version of it though... Just saying XD
Time Heals All chapter 1 . 9/8/2014
I love this pairing and I really enjoyed this story as well. I loved how you managed to keep Leia and Alvin in character but somehow portrayed Leia as...I'm unsure how else to put it other than grown up. I hope to read more stories from you _
Marvelle Petit chapter 1 . 8/25/2014

I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP

Also that was a really great!
Ryuchu chapter 1 . 3/24/2014
Yay! Hooray for officially loving this ship! I am so, so pleased in such a dorky way that you have no idea.

Also, whatever we're you talking about when you said that you would somehow 'disgrace' the fandom of this couple while writing for it? You have done nothing but make me love and appreciate both this ship and your writing all the more, so don't you tell yourself otherwise!

Okay, onto reviewing the actual story.
This is a very interesting and more mature take on Alvin and Leia's relationship and I positively love that. Even though this is a situation that never happens in the context of the games (and you had very little precedent considering how this kind of situation isn't even close to approached in the games) but I felt that you kept the both of them perfectly in character which only made this even more of a delight to read. I love how there was a sense of give and take in the way they interacted - each of them has their moments of dominance and submission, which I feel is very in line with both their personalities and relationship. Also, I suppose this is more a personal head-canon, but I also enjoyed how Leia was the one to initiate actually addressing her feelings because I always felt that Alvin would be exceedingly reluctant to be the one to initiate their relationship.

Moving beyond the amazing characterization, I also rather enjoy your writing style. There's something very flowing and enjoyable about it that I can't quite put my finger on. One little thing I love is the repetition of Moonlight and how it slowly falls out of the scene; true, it's the trigger to this whole situation, but it's not the cause - the way your frame it indicates that there was a lot building up to this. I feel that you used the presence of Moonlight (or lack thereof) to reflect this notion, which was a really nice touch.

So overall, an extremely solid piece that I enjoyed so very much and can only thank you for writing. I hope that you'll continue to write for these two, but if not I am perfectly happy (if not mildly disappointed for dumb fangirl reasons) with this wonderful story being your sole contribution.

(Also, dude, what the heck?! Ahhh, I don't deserve even the briefest of mentions within the story and even less so within the author's note! Of course, that didn't stop me from smiling like an idiot when you did...)
lazycat66 chapter 1 . 3/24/2014
Well, I took the day to read your fics, it seemes. Ha!
Apparently, you're into the same ships as I am - which are the one that MAKE SENSE, unlike most of the ones people seem to have as favorites... but let's not go there.

On a side note, I also think his beard is weird, and I actually like beards. Just not on Alvin!
