Yep. You definitely improved your writing style. Much easier and nicer to read. As you said, you center less on your OC and more on canon characters, and it helps readers to keep with your story.
This far, I quite enjoyed it, with genins more carefuls and powerfuls than in canon. A good thing, I think. :)
I don't know till where I will keep with this part but if it continues like this, I might stay 'till the end.
Have you also checked for any communities or forums (in of course) which specialises with stories with OC ? There must be some which could help you make your fiction known a little more. ;)

wow that was a long wait though Im no better since im stuck with my stories. Well, anyway great chapter, can't wait for what u have planned for the wave arc, although I hope that you save Haku and Zabuzza. I can't stand that they had to be used by Obito during the war.

This could go wel depending on what you decide to with the events that are going to happen like the Wave Arc and the Chunnin Exams. Truthfuly should try to stop Zabuza and Haku from dying since the gang knows wha's going to happen and they should try to help them avoid a lot of problems in the future.
