Aw, that was perfect. I wish we would get a few moments like this where john mentions his trials when working in the CIA on the show. And what a perfect explaination as to why he chose to go to Istambul of all places. This will be my headcanon now. Thanks so much for this lovely Reese and Finch moment. There's not nearly enough of that on the show.

This was wonderful to read; I really enjoyed it, and...well, I can definitely picture it. Your imagery was so vivid, in describing the web and John's actions. Spiders are amazing creatures.

This was wonderful and felt very real in how these two talk about 'the big stuff.' I especially appreciated Harold's remark about the tactical retreat. It showed just how much understanding there is in this relationship. And the meditation on the spider web was an interesting parallel to John and Harold's mission. Thanks for sharing.
