Holy crap! That... That was some really, really great scene work here, with the ritual and the chase. I'm happy you made Jack go for the attack as opposed to directly fleeing, but dang. Just... dang.

I was recommended this story by a particular equestrian, who told me that the combo of this had been done at all. Wow. You two certainly did your research- this first chapter is FULL of direct reference that really puts this story into the setting. I'm more or less excited to see how these two beings of immense power can deal with... him.

I'm all a quiver and nervous and excited- it's like seeing the trailer for AvP for the first time, or Freddy Vs Jason. Should it happen? Maybe, maybe not. WHO CARES ITS GONNA BE GOOD!
