The idea of Reese giving Finch an 'anyday' as opposed to a birthday had me smiling, and the gift of a bird feeder fits Finch so well. Also, it was nice how Finch confided his birthday at the end anyway. A lovely piece, well done!

I like that you used Emerson's real birthdate. I wonder if he, Taraji (Sept 11th) and Caviezel (Sept 26th) ever shared a birthday dinner/muffin/cake/etc on the set together during filming of the show.
