I really, really love this. You've really captured Emily, and what happens when you bottle up decades' worth of mess and it all falls out. Also Papa Rossi is my favourite Rossi. So good :D

I've been scrolling through your profile to read any Emily fics you've written that I may have missed...I LOVE this one. I love that you don't usually write Emily/Rossi friendship and still manage to capture their relationship so beautifully. Poor, poor Emily. I can picture this. I think it's really difficult to write someone breaking down, crying, etc, without it seeming trite or cheesy, but you do it excellently. Well done.

Thank you for this. I'm a firm believer in Rossi and Prentiss friendship. I think they are good as friends. I can't see them in a relationship. This is how I see Rossi being with the entire team, supportive and fatherly.
