Another great addition to an amazing series! I especially love the first chapter, with Sherlock pompously assuming that John couldn't possibly have done anything interesting while he was away! Oh, nothing much, eh Mycroft?

OMFG THAT LINE! "John smiled then, and it felt as if the sun had come out." Beautiful amazing and gorgeous! I had huge second-hand embarrassment at the initial reunion, but then I became a pile of beautiful friendship goo... Thank you...

The Earldom certainly added drama to an already considerably dramatic series of events XD But yeah, Sherlock has very little right to complain about withheld information when he blatantly tricked John into thinking he was dead... but all's well that ends well? I guess? :P

I didn't realize how lonely Sherlock would feel after his taste of rich, warm friendship, very good point

His views of Mary are spot on. I am glad John forces him to reflect on his thought processes once in a while

I like how the only thing he gets right is Mary. Poor John, while giving a speech is almost as bad as when he was proposing.

Woah, this was pretty angsty!
Sherlock's surprise at the life John had built for himself while he was dead was fun, but otherwise, this was nearly more painful than canon.
