If ever your read this, know that as short as it is, your story has already made me feel all sorts of emotions. I really love how you conveyed their emotions by describing their body language. And don't get me started on the politics of it all! I love love stories after the war where the author expanded the happenings of the 'Aftermath'. It isn't entirely pretty as you have already made me frustrated and guilty and depressed. Neverthless, it is the foundation of a future where Bilbo stayed contentedly in Erebor. Hope you find the inspiration to finish it someday.

I am really enjoying this story as it is unique to other Hobbit ones that I have read. I do have one question though. In your story, are Fíli and Kíli twins? I only ask because when I was reading I was a little confused as Fíli is known in canon to be 5 years older than Kíli. It is just a small thing that I was curious about. I really do love your story and I hope that you update soon!
