Oh, this was absolutely wonderful! :D :D I just finished the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc, and I have fallen REALLY HARD for Franky and Iceberg - and there is so little fic for them that I was absolutely delighted to find this! You have the character voices absolutely nailed, as well as their particular combination of constant fighting concealing deep affection for each other. I also loved the hurty-comforty bits, because they are so sweet when they're worried about each other. :) I'm very sad to hear there was more of it that was lost - how terribly frustrating (and selfishly, I would have loved to read it). I really hope you write more with these two someday!
