Wow, I really liked this! The short story was written quite well and flowed nicely. I never really thought of Shaggy being a warlock/potion-maker, but you weave the idea through amazingly. The casual feel you put in this one-shot is something I love. Nice job!

I don't know why, but I really like this story; actually, I think I do know why I like this...

I've actually had similar ideas to this, only mine involved Scooby and the gang as witches and warlocks(or wizards if you prefer); oddly enough, one I had involved Scooby and company and a bunch of old Hanna Barbera mystery characters attending a school similar to Hogwarts(yep, basically a takeoff on Harry Potter, albeit a nice and pretty good one I think).

By the way, it's cool that you had an idea similar to something I was thinking about, as it seems like we're both on similar wavelengths in terms of fan fiction goes; anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing more stories like this, as this leaves so many questions: for instance, is Shaggy a Warlock/Wizard with Scooby as his familiar and the gang doesn't know, sort of a secret warlock? Or are the entire gang witches and warlocks(or witches and wizards), with Shaggy the best potion maker of the bunch?

Just some thoughts, as you the author can make the final decision on something like this; one of these days i'll post more of my stories :)
