| NeonRoberts chapter 1 . 7/9/2014 I'm sorry, while I was reading, one small thing bothered me. he said romance but he meant sexual encounters. he's saying he's never experienced romance but he's meaning he lacks sexual experience. what you describe is aromantic, what it turns out to be is asexual. it's simple enough to be both, but it seems that You're saying that asexual and aromantic are one in the same, when they're really not. you also make it seem like he knows romantic attraction and not sexual. which is right for an asexual, but you're also illuding that since he's asexual, he is also not capable of a romantic relationship. I'm sorry it just bothered me since my hands are very deep in lgbtq and I have friends that are both or one or the other. it was just slightly offensive. thank you for your time. |
