This is great! Didn't expect a happy ending so that was a nice surprise. I always wondered what went through Tamsin's head when she saw her "mother" walking to her death.
Kenzi's I love you to Tamsin was so sad. I like to think Tamsin had her own goodbye to kenzi when she left the others.
I hope you consider adding more chapters! :)

Would love to see this as a multi-chapter story, i think it has grate potential.

As heartbreaking as the first scene was, you had a beautiful idea on how Kenzi could come back.
I really like that she can be trained as a Valkyrie by Tamsin. I wish it was this way on the show.
I know this is a one shot, but you have a great foundation to build on from here. I'm "following" just in case you add to this someday. Great job!
