Oh, I hope you do continue this, it's so good! Absolutely adorable, and filled with just as much hilarity and seriousness as both shows are! I love the whole daddy!Jiraiya thing, and I believe that it would be one of the best ways to introduce Kagome into the ninja world, it's not too high status, she doesnt come from an actual clan, but her dad's status gives others hope that she could be destined for great things, hoping that her father's genes are strong in her.

Which means that she isn't arrogant, but instead humble, but also the kind of person who doesn't stand for BS, yet kind and understanding of others. I hope Jiraiya decides to stick around to help her become a ninja, and train her himself. If he is really gonna step up as her dad, he should definitely want to spend time with her, get to know her, and try to make up for the time he wasn't around. It would also allow him to become proud of her, and make it harder for Kakashi to woo her, come on, he should be up for the challenge.

Especially all the people who want to help her, especially in training. Kakashi especially, once he actually starts taking an interest in her.

The question is how will Kagome find Jiraiya because that world is not the modern one but a alternative universe.

I know you established that Kagome in the Academy is just something amusing and not to take too seriously and I understand that, it just kind of... takes away from the story? I imagine that if someone wanted to become a ninja at a later age then they would get a private tutor. It’s not like when an adult who never finished high school decides to retake classes they send them to high school again. They get taught in a different setting. I suppose that what I want to convey is that children and adults are at different capacities and maturity. To people who were taking this story seriously ( as perhaps the same seriousness as Dreaming of Sunshine as an example) it kind of grates that after so long the story starts taking itself lightly because perhaps you’ve grown less attached to it.

This just seems so awkward and a bit humiliating for Kagome. She's going to be so much older than everyone else. Plus, she knows nothing about shinobi so she'll feel even more dumb when children who grew up in Konoha around them know terms she doesn't know.

It wasn’t my intention at all haha i kinda just wanted to suggest a diff avenue for kagome since i was lowkey hoping that kakashi would be her private ninja tutor and they could have some more bonding time :3 but i’m totally g for whatever you have planned for this story :))
