Of all the ships I follow, Elsanna is the one ship that I particularly steer clear of when it comes to fics of this nature. The ship has enough angst/suffering included in, that 'coping with the death of your partner' fics are usually too heavy for me. This though...this was just beautiful. Elsa's progression of accepting and dealing with Anna's death, and finally realizing that she needs to move on with her life, while still cherishing Anna's memory, was so bloody touching. Few fics really move me to tears, but this one certainly did. Bravo.

This is brilliantly original, hauntingly painful, and very well done. It made me cry, but I figured out that was going to happen shortly in. But it's just so well done that I had to express how much I appreciated the skill with which it was planned and written while stewing about crying right before lunch. Great job. Heartbreaking in so many ways, but skillfully, beautifully, elegantly done.
