| Kez chapter 13 . 9/30/2016 This is a very addictive story and I hope you're planning to finish it. As much as I enjoy the plot, though, your story could have been greatly improved if Peeta and Katniss weren't so ooc. We are all reading fanfiction because we love the original characters, after all, and the story wouldn't even change much if Katniss and Peeta were the strong-willed girl and the sweet, caring boy from THG, rather than a weepy, stuttering mess and an angry alpha-jerk. At the very least, make it so the Peeta isn't so reprehensible. His anger is completely understandable, but he seems to feel no guilt at all when he hurts Katniss (and he's done that both physically or emotionally). Coupled with his numerous angry outbursts, he comes off as rather abusive, frankly. His misplaced hatred towards a little girl is even more awful. He is sorry about that, but doesn't ever acknowledge that his feelings and behaviour towards her would be terrible even if she wasn't his daughter. Then there's his selfish desire to whisk the kids away. He doesn't ever consider how suddenly uprooting them, or taking them away from their mother would affect them. It's not too late for his character, though! Peeta could be easily redeemed if he started feeling sorry for his behaviour. And it would really help sell the relationship if he had an emotional response (other than anger or indifference) to Katniss when she's hurting. Right now, there's nothing indicating he cares about her at all. |

| LilyRose chapter 10 . 5/29/2015 I understand why Peeta took a strawberry ice cream for Glimmer in the beginning ! In this chapter, Katniss takes two chocolate, one vanilla, a vanilla and chocolate and a strawberry ! I think that Peeta took a strawberry because it's Katniss' favorite ice cream ! |
