Coincidentally, I was just re-watching this episode earlier today and had been thinking the same thing about his injury. Watching the first series always brings out the Revolutionshipper in me, so I took to FF.N. I actually came looking for your story "Connected," which I'd read a few years back and which has always been a favorite of mine-but what a treat to find this as well! No chance we might see a sequel post-episode 14? That promise pretty much gets demolished. Or maybe even post-episode 17, when he—well, Yuugi—is the one who put Anzu in danger, just because he likes her?

Wow. That was simply amazing. I really love how you developed their characterization here and this would have been amazing to have seen in Season. Great job!

Wow, loved it! It annoys me as well how Anzu could see his hand from the position she was in and quite frankly this IS a much better version. Amazing job! :D

(jaw drops) Why, this should have been canon! This episode is one of my favorites in Season 0. What I like about this story is how the changes in the scene were incorporated seamlessly while retaining the original way the hallway scene began and ended and so does not come in conflict with the amusement park episode. And Yami’s such a mysterious character, isn’t he? How he cares about Anzu yet keeping her in the dark at the same time.

And you tackled a lot of things that were not (and should have been) addressed in the anime. Anzu noticing that Yami already knew her name; shouldn’t she have wondered about that before? So thanks for writing this.

This is awesome. Yami was SO romantic here. I wish he was more like this in the series. I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. You should write more stuff like this, you know.
