This was a good one, I enjoyed reading it, It really was interesting, been finding a lot of fics that follow almost to 100% the canon, to this gave me a new way to look at things. Just with the fact that shepard ended being the "villian", first time i read that.

Reminds me a bit of a rather infamous warlord from Warhammer 40K. Survives some of the biggest battles in a war the galaxy had ever seen, over 10K years old, has fought alongside some of the most dangerous members of his faction, even had plans to storm Terra and bring down the Imperium of Man itself.

Gets his throat slit by some rando and bleeds out in some minor cemetery world, on a street so insignificant it didn't even have a name.

Now all that's left is the cleanup, which is gonna be bad. The Citadel is gonna be demanding well, quite a lot of reparations, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. They might not be able to say, force the matter, but at the same time, there's gonna be some serious social upheaval going on behind their lines.

god I really want to continue this story but seeing Jodie being so selfless and lawfull good is just strange and disconcerting I played her quite ruthless and egotistical so it'll take time to get used to

This story started off so light hearted.
This better not descend into cosmic-eldritch-horror.

man this is getting really good. can't wait to see what's up. also think there could be some more influence of the Reapers than we would've thought. also wonder if you'll introduce the Leviathans soon enough along with doing the other ME DLC stuff
