This was such a precious story, and I loved every bit of it. The end was sad, but in a good way. I’m glad that Ash gave himself for the world, and I love that his bond with Pikachu is what allowed it. Also, I adore him and Team Rocket being buds. That’s what it’s always seemed like watching the show too. They respect that they’re on different sides and that they’re enemies, but at the same time they have this awesome mutual bond of friendship- literal friendemies.

I also kinda slipped my own headcanon sorta thing but for this fiction (ficcanon? Oh, well maybe it’s just fannon) where when Ash’s Pokémon come back with everyone else and find Pikachu with his hat and figure out what happens... they all freak out and run to where Pikachu and the hat are and cry out in grief and anguish for their fallen Trainer loud enough to grasp the attention of all nearby people and pokémon. In their grief, they all send up their respective attacks into the sky, Pikachu’s Thunderbolt with flamethrower, bubble, etc. swirling around it. Everyone is amazed, and it can be seen for miles. Later, a memorial is made for Ash; a statue of a Pikachu holding an official Pokémon League expo hat surrounded by a Greninja, Charizard, Skiddo, and Tyrunt, all sending various signature attacks into the sky.

I’m sorry, that’s probably a little weird to say, but it’s been forever since you wrote this and you probably won’t ever see it anyway, so I guess that’s fine. Anyway, thanks for this wonderful fic, reading it has really brightened my day! It was wonderfully written, and I Loved every moment!

the story is good so far. writing styles a bit to clunky and there are a few grammatical errors here and there, but otherwise the story is pretty good.
