I think the Shadow is fine though there probably are better names though I have no idea how Ed hides his identity. What he wears could change the name. Otherwise this is a great story and I hope you continue it!

The Shadow is really cheesy but I don't think anyone would bother with coming up with a more creative name XD Unless Ed himself were to create a name they would stuck with the classic 'Shadow' cause it's ninja that way. Heck I really like this idea though, it's interesting and holds quite a bit of potential(not to mention that I am a RoyEd fan), I hope you update soon!

The description of this fic makes me think of the Jak and Daxter series :3 Doesn't help that you've included a bar scene so early, either.

So, they think the Shadow's a girl? Makes sense, if Ed wears his hair in a braid in this fic. Although it probably pisses him off to no end.

This is off to an interesting start. Your summary for the story caught my attention, so that was well done. I liked how you started off the chapter with a bit of mystery, but then the rest was much more calm.
