Will Mito continue training? I honestly disliked how there were people in the Naruto anime that stopped training and even if they were still strong they got rusty. Naruto for example was a kage level idiot who didn't even try to study and work on his hand signs or his hand to hand combat. I mean he still sucked at taijutsu and his jutsu was so-so. That and if you continue on letting her grow to take on certain threats like Zetsu, Obito, Madara, the Akatsuki, Kaguya or the other Otsutsuki how will you do it? So far I'm liking this story.

You mentioned the Senju boy love interest, but never really followed through on what happened with him, where he went, or any little pov switches to him thinking about Mitoko or something, which is I guess kinda disappointing because they were implied to start off as a biggo pairing... I guess you night have planned to reintroduce the Senju guy in the chuunin exams but? eh...
