Ahhhh this is so adorable/wonderful/yay making! That's actually EXACTLY how I imagine parallel universe Tylers to be going on. And Jackie is fantastically sassy as usual. I always did love her :)

Jackie was a character that really irritated me in the very beginning, but whom I realized I actually totally loved by the end ("I don't care about all that. How rich?"). And I don't half love Pete :). Once again I feel like you've completely captured these DW characters with like, 100% accuracy. How is it that you know exactly what Rose and Tentoo and Jackie and Pete would say?! I loved the connection between Tony and Tentoo - I feel like Ten/Tentoo would relate to three-year olds a lot better than to most adults, actually! And I loved his indignation about the jar hand. Awesome job!

Such a fun story! I was smiling through out the whole thing-from Rose's question without context, to Jackie's acceptance and Tony's wide eyed wonder and of course, Rose and the Doctor being their wonderful selves.

You are really an amazing writer and have an amazing talent of characterization. It's these almost throw away lines like this that make me realize you have captured the pure essence of the Doctor / TenToo in your writing: "Last month the Doctor had accidentally spent two days as a tour guide at the President Churchill Gallery until someone realized no one had hired him and he'd been putting his tips in the donation box."

I love that this was "accidently" because things just seem to happen to the Doctor.
"Two days" - because the Doctor doesn't seem to learn his lessons right away.
"tour guide" - another way to describe what the Doctor did showing his companions the universe. It must have felt like a natural fit. He never could shut up anyways.
"someone" - an outside force had to make him stop doing something when he's having fun, even if it's something inane like impromptu tour-guiding.
"tips in the donation box" - because the Doctor is all about the human race and helping other people.

... So, maybe I put more into unpacking that sentence that you put into writing it, but if you can subconsciously characterize that well, I'm all the more impressed.

THIS IS SO HAPPY. Except for the part where Jackie misses Rose and it's doubly sad that she's so used to it she knows it's coming, but it's so lovely that she just wants her little girl to be happy. And watching Rose and the Doctor being Rose and the Doctor is just HGJREMFKOPJRGE because I don't usually read DW fic, so this is really the first time I've seen them happy since I watched the series and NEW TARDIS IS RED BUT WILL BE BLUE? and stuff and "Me" is calling her and oh, this is just so lovely. Remember when I used to give helpful reviews? Yeah those days are over. Anyway thank you for celebrating your birthday by giving us this loveliness :D
