This is the second time I read this, and I can't help to imagine an alternative end. Regina return to the kingdom and kill Leopold. Snow is send to a world without magic. Emma and Henry were running from Rumple for five years until Rumple takes Belle to find Neal. Regina is The Evil Queen, the darkness is something you can't erase from your heart, but you can decide to star not to be evil, so she rips her heart out after Rumple cursed it. Emma find a way to goes to Regina, she can't recognize her anymore. She's more depressed than ever so Emma, after five years on blaming to let her go, is ready to ask an apology and recover the heart of the woman she loves

This story was ahh-maze-ing!

It’s too bad Emma is Regina’s only safe option at this point because she’s incredibly abusive, I actually think I’d have rather Regina stayed with Robin Hood then continue on with her and I HATED him on the show. After reading chapters worth of Emma’s belittling cruel insults I’m going to take a break. I read some spoilers and it seems Emma gets hurt so I assume that’ll be a literary device forcing Regina into a situation of forgiveness and I need to decide whether I want to read that or not. I love antagonistic beginnings and SwanQueen banter is one thing but this hasn’t been equal banter at all and it’s chapter 25 already.

I’m epically late to this AU party but holy heck- this was amazing. I cannot believe there aren’t more stories posted here about this intricate world you’ve imagined. Maybe you at a published author by now? Thank you for this wonderful adventure. Got me through finals week! Hope you come back to the ff fandom:) your talent is immeasurable.

This is by far my FAVOURITE swanqueen story I've ever read. I was hooked from the very beginning. It's written so beautifully and very realistically, and I love everything that you brought to these characters. I was really hoping for an upbeat dance scene between Emma and Regina, but I don't know where that would have fit in haha. Maybe in one of the taverns. I wish this was a movie so I could watch it over and over again! Your story is 1000x better than the writing on the show. YOU should be writing OUAT! Thank you so much for writing this! You should really consider writing a sequel!

Really love this! The characterization and change over time is fantastic! There were a few grammar and spelling mistakes (ie "adrenalin" is "adrenaline"), but nothing too glaring. Happy writing!
