I LOVED THIS! I have always wanted them to get a dog. I firmly believe that dogs are actually angels sent to give us a taste of God's love! Thank you for this!

All of your stories (the ones I have read so far) are so beautifully depressing. When I read the descriptions, I get so excited because they all just sound so interesting, but I just don't know where to start.

Sam does seem fascinated with dogs. I'm not sure they aren't better off in this verse.

Well now I have tears rolling down my cheeks... Somehow I missed this story the first time around and when I received the notice today for Sensation and it listed that it was a sequel I came to find this little gem. How heartbreaking that this happened to Sam and I can totally understand the blanket of grief that fell over Sam after the sudden loss of his leg. Dean's concerns over Sam were well founded I think. Sam was so distraught and all but unresponsive to his daily needs that worrying that he might be suicidal Dean's coworker was right on the money in suggesting that puppy for Sam! Can't wait to go read Sensation!

I usually don't like permanent injury fics, but I absolutely adored this story. You managed to capture Sam's absolute despair, but you still managed to leave up feeling optimistic about his future. Awesome story!

This is weird. I just tended to an amputee today and came back... and found this on your profile (I realised that I should be reading more of your stuff because I love your stuff and you're awesome).

This is so heartbreaking, though. Poor Sam. The depression was so real, so palpable. Them settling down and Dean finding a job, Sam's leg hurting when there's nothing to hurt (poor thing, phantom limb pains must suck - there's really nothing to ease the pain off). Gah. I was so glad when Sam got the puppy, though. When he smiled. I like happy Sammy. :)

Really awesome story! I have never read a disabled bro story and was worried about reading this but I am so glad I did! Having a puppy was brilliant and of course it worked! I loved how you wrote Sam and Dean. It all felt very right and real! Thanks!
