Oh shoot, I've run out of chapters... finally came back to read what I've missed after quite a while though. Finally started to like Aiden too so thanks for that slap in the face lol. It's still amazing to see how Naomi has progressed throughout all this even though you hadn't planned for her character at all. (I'm guessing you were alluding to that when Rhys kept mentioning her not being part of the plan) I've really enjoyed reading all this over again. I can't help myself empathizing with almost every one of these characters. I love this story. I've probably read it 3 times now? not certain. I find myself constantly thinking about it for weeks after reading. This is the kind of story that sticks with you, I don't know how to compliment it anymore than that. I can't wait for more, now that I've gotten back into reading fanfics. Hell I'm still in shock about what's happened in these last few chapters. For the love of God keep it up, I can't wait for more.

what is a video store?

I was re reading this, and I had this feeling I couldn't shake that I felt like this story was familiar. After a lot of thinking I realized that this reminded me of the tv show Supernatural, the 4th and 5th seasons, the apocalypse arc. Ryder/Black and his gang are like team Free Will, or the "Free Will Faction," they got nothing but their guts, and their wit to win. Morally ambiguous to say the least, but good people in the end. Crimson dawn are wild cards of sorts, like Crowley they don't want to destroy the world, but their end goals aren't exactly good. Ghost and his organization are like Lucifer's "Destruction faction," they just want destruction and control. And the WPA is like Michaels "Paradise faction," they want to stop Ghost, but they are willing to burn everything to do it. Supposedly the good guys, like the angels, but are really no better than the bad guys in the end.

Is there any updates to come or is this going to be it?

I love how you do everything with this fanfic. I really wonder when you will post the book 2 finale. It has been 3 months from the last chapter. I hope everything goes ok.
