I'm intrigued by this story, as a sucker for girl falls into or is reincarnated in whatever fandom. I was also happy to see an older sister over 18 . there aren't many of them on this site. I'm also curious where you take the mood-aura thing. I haven't seen that one done, and I could see auras as a kid so, could be cool!
But then you made her a "return grad." First of all, what the heck is a return grad? That's not a thing. I'm a high school teacher you can't do that. Not in US That I know of and certainly not in my state. If you need her at the school for storyline and interaction there are more believable routes to go. For one she could work at the school as support staff or even a volunteer. She could be in Instructional assistant or cafeteria worker, or in the office. Or you could have just made her close to graduation. Or she could take like community college classes, which are sometimes held at high schools in surrounding communities (usually at night after school but still could be tweaked to work).
I hope I'll be able to overlook this but it's going to eat at me.
