This is a good long story for I do not like two chapter fanfics that are forever left incomplete. It is a story that is heartwarming and engaging, perilous yet hopeful. To top it off, you added quite the impressive heartwarming you for this story and the joy you have brought upon it.

I watched the Hobbit trilogy not too long ago and came to fanfiction to find some closure in the unsatisfying ending for Tauriel and Legolus’s story. So being able to read something like this from a person with similar interpretations of the characters made me happy. Tauriel may have been a non-canon character book wise and arguably with deep creation flaws from her movie origins, but her relationship with Legolas, that mutual trust and dependence they had with other, moved me and I enjoyed seeing it here too. The buildup to their love was well done, to the point where I was actually impatient to see them admit their love for each other, something I almost never do when reading romance. Plus their son is simply adorable.
I particularly liked your take on Tauriel’s relationship with Kili. The Kiliel romance in the movies felt unrealistic and forced for me. I saw a development to friendship as more plausible but the possibility if the two had more time I could accept as well. Also props to the idea that a match between them could’ve lessened the tension between the elves and dwarves.

This was beautifully written and your attention to timing, to letting the story unfold, was very well done.
However, I can’t help but think (hope) the story may have a companion someday. I should like to know about Thranduil’s rest in the Undying Lands and how it softens him and the reunion with his love, and in time Legolas, Tauriel, and Logion.

Okay so i know that the story is long finished but i just had to say how amazingly written this is, I absolutely love the way you portrayed them and the ending was so good that I'm in tears right now, you have made something that is absolutely brilliant and I thank you for that!

Beautiful story! Every chapter has had an almost short-story like style to it, which gave the overall story a kind of magical feeling. Can't believe you managed to fit the Hobbit and LotR plot in 54 chapters! And make it realisitic with every character spot on! Very very well written!

If it was a Morgul blade, I think that Tauriel could have acted a little weaker, but I also really liked your descriptions!
