Query: why is Anakin's expensive, flashy speeder on Coruscant? Padmé is working for the Refugee Agency and Anakin for Naboo's Royal Guard. It should be on Naboo, surely?
And how was it transported to Coruscant? Not on the fighter with him and Eirtaé, nor on the Senator's larger vessel with everyone else, it would have been blown up!
I'm sure he'd want to drive/fly it every chance he got so either he and Padmé are on Coruscant more than has been indicated, or the speeder is a new purchase just picked up from the dealership, and why does it always have to be yellow? Everyone knows that's the worst possible colour for attracting bugs!

Really enjoying the story. Just a couple of points that I feel I should draw to your attention - a regnant Queen, like Padmé, would be addressed as majesty, not highness. Highness would be her consort and children (in a hereditary monarchy), also royal uncles, aunts and cousins.
The 'uncomfortable pit in her stomach' should read more like 'the uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach' presumably this is a phrase you are not particularly familiar with.

Well this was interesting but I must say Padme is right Palpatine has already won the war if the queen believes she can prevent the war to come then she is a fool after all everything is a already in place and the war will begin one way or another.

So Anakin doesn't know how to use his powers that's pretty foolish considering how dangerous the Galaxy is not to mention the war he knows is coming and wasn't his training a pat of the visions of the future he saw.

Well I'm glad the Force is being so helpful it seems it really wants to avoid that dreadful future.

Well that is certainly one way to find out about your future children and your tragic future, she took it pretty well all things considered and at least now she knows she cannot trust that piece of sith Garbage Palpatine.

Hopefully Anakin's future will start to change for the better.

And the battle is won though I wonder why Anakin didn't warn Padme about Palpatine yet.

What? Why on Earth isn't Padmé the Senator? I don't get it. She's the *only* one capable of representing Naboo. She's the Pillar of Democracy, a Hero of the Clone Wars, and the Leader of the Delegation of 2000; in other words, she's the spiritual Founder of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Why would she betray herself and who she is as a person? She is out of character.

And how on Earth did some mere handmaiden become a Galactic Senator? That makes no sense. Is Eritree capable of making Padmé's bed? Yes. Writing a speech and being a leader? No. I don't like it that somebody else is getting Padmé's glory.

Kinda creepy that a nine years old and fourteen years old are falling in love
