That was so DARK! I LOVED IT! The idea of Van Helsing going mad from nightmares of Dracula is something I didn't know I needed in my life! You should totally continue this one!

I think this is my favorite thing of yours. It's very dark and the twists and turns it takes are unexpected and I love that. The pacing is really good, as well. I'd love to see more of this!

Oh, I liked this. The concept is very intriguing-Van Helsing has gone mad (expected, really, when one runs about murdering people all the time). I like that you've built several layers of delusion into it: not just the one dream about the similarly unbalanced Sofia but then another dream in which Anna has survived, so that dear old VH must "become" a murderer, then be exonerated-"phew, it was only a dream, I didn't kill either of them"-and then is condemned again when Anna does in fact turn out to be dead. I also like the twist you've come up with in making her death intentional, if only subconsciously. It's a nice take on the classic "family annihilator" psychopath, who murders their family/loved ones in order to "spare" them from catastrophe, or on the "if I can't have her no one will." Those kinds of pathologies pair well with Van Helsing's zealotry, making it totally believable. And I'm glad that you made VH suffer, I never could stand the guy. ;)

So yes, terrific job! You have a facility for dialogue and a good sense of pacing. I look forward to more!

This - this one was dark. The part in Sofia's room when he's trying to exorcise her (I'm assuming that's what he was doing) and the room got super cold and Dracula's face appeared in the mirror - I got the craziest chills. I'm not the kind of person that gets scared when reading - it's usually when I'm thinking about what I read later that I start to get frightened. The imagery you concocted in this one-shot will undoubtedly frighten me later tonight. The part with Anna and the brides was incredibly erotic and simultaneously horrifying - and then the reveal at the end! So good! Would love it if you continued this one. This would make an excellent horror story.

So good and creepy and even subtly erotic? I loved it! It made me tingly all over, knowing you're writing again. I've really missed your oneshots. I hope you write more of these in the future.

Woah… that is dark. and Riveting I could not stop reading if I had wanted to! And the ending, holy Plot twist! Nooo Carl you should know there is something else up! Then again He was pretty torn up about Anna, Gabriel was. I suppose it is reasonable to think he might have a nervous breakdown.

YESSSSS. DRACULA LIVES! I have recently started watching Van Helsing again and as a result I probably wasn't as sympathetic towards Sofia's plight because I am still mesmerised by Dracula and literally keep repeating 'but he is so pretty' in my head.

But I digress.

Great job as usual! I am so excited for your new story, it is actually quite scary.
