I have a very good feeling about this story.

Good so far.

Tried to post a review on Chapter three, but FFN burped on it for some reason, so I'll have to post it here. Glitchy.

Chapter three is very well written and follows along with the movie canon well, except... because it follows movie canon so closely it also suffers the same flaws as the movie. Let's face it. Clone Wars: The Movie didn't do well in theaters. Have you read the novelization by Karen Traviss? She did an excellent job fleshing out the Battle of Teth. Watch the movie again and start counting up how many clones DIE as they are climbing up the walls. There is no silliness in the battle, except on the part of Anakin and Ahsoka who almost seem to make a game of their climb. So, clones are struggling and dying on the walls and they are having a game of one upmanship. Very strange.

According to Wookipedia, only five clones survived the Battle of Teth. The losses were horrendous. It was a complete slaughter due to poor planning and insufficient air support. It was a terrible battle. The 212th arrived late and finally swooped in at the end, but they were much too late to provide any real help. All of the 501st (except for five) were already dead at this point.

If I were Rex, I would be angry, sullen and bitter after such a battle and such horrific losses. It was more of a slaughter-fest than a battle. Not saying he couldn't connect with a Jedi, but maybe he would do it as she got him to open up with his feelings about the battle. Unless you are planning on deviating from canon and changing the amount of losses they sustained. See if you can find the novelization of the movie. You can read portions of it for free on Amazon. You can also read a great deal more about the Battle of Teth on Wookipedia.

But, the writing itself is very well done.

This is well-written. I like the interaction between Sola and Rex and the slightly different spin you took on the battle of Teth. Looking forward to reading more.
