LOL Poor Donnie. I always figured the reason Casey made it this far in school is 'cuz he cheated. Think about it, not everyone in high school takes trig- Casey said school has never been his thing... He also mentioned that he used to have a best friend (since the 2nd grade) but his friend never wanted to speak to him again after Casey accidently hit him in the face during a hockey game. What if the two of them had most of their classes together? As his best friend, he probably let Casey copy off his papers during tests and helped him with his homework, or even did it for him. That's the only way I can see Casey Jones getting placed in a math class that is so obviously beyond his level of comprehension. That's also probably the real reason why no one else wants to tutor him; he just expects them to do his homework for him so he can pass the class and they can get the extra credit for tutoring.

Hahahaha! This is awesome! Thanks so much for writing this; it was entertaining from start to finish! Donnie and Casey both felt totally in character. The ending was so fun. "Donnie, my man! What do you know about Walt Whitman?" My guess? Probably a lot, as usual!

Casey- he just doesn't see what's so great about all this nonsense school work. lol...me neither. Sheesh. And I've gone through a lot of it- it's mostly a complete waste!

Well, for starters Casey, he wrote the poem "O Captain, My Captain", a poem about the end of the Civil War and Lincoln's death. You know, it's only one of the most famous poems in American history.
