It's a pity you have stopped writing, you write very well, very good plots, you tie up your loose ends and your stories are a pleasure to read. I hope someday you will return to writing.

Great story

Like all your stories, this one was a terrific blend of an intricate plot coupled with wonderful characterizations...and just enough expertly placed humor to lighten the tension when it could have been overwhelming.

Although I found it hard to believe that Tony would forget to Mirandize a perpetrator, it was *not* outside the realm of possibility. As canon has shown us, our heroes do have feet of clay, so that particular twist worked incredibly well for me. I also liked the way you used Abby's realization that the Springsteen (loved the Boss/Boss nod!) song she picked up in the background of the tape was shorter than it should have been, thus drawing the conclusion that the tape had been altered. Well played!

What struck me the most in this was your use of the paternal bonds between the "good guys" and the "bad guys" and how they recognized those ties in each other, using them each to their own ends. That was so well done, and provided a fantastic foundation for this story.

Your stories will always have a special place in my heart. Your love for the characters shines in every word, and your attention to detail makes them a joy to read (and reread, as I've been doing recently; I am still looking forward to my reread of "Mistaken Identity.") Thank you for the many hours of pleasure they've given me. I wish you fair winds and following seas...

I just want to say that IMO yours are amongst the very best stories on this site. The plots are engrossing and the interactions of the characters, especially Gibbs and Tony, heartwarming without being too sappy and overwhelming. I will greatly miss reading new stories from you but I thank you for all the hours of reading pleasure.

Admittedly, I've left the fandom a couple of times, but whenever I've come back (and I've always come back), your fics have been among those I've read. The characterization is spot on, the plots are exciting, your writing is great. I admire you and I wish I were as good at writing as you are.

I'm sad that this is your last fic, but I'm thankful that you've decided to leave your fics online. It'd be such a loss if I wouldn't be able to read them ever again!

Was so excited when I went back to revisit old favorite authors and saw a new story! And as usual, you did not disappoint! the dynamic between Gibbs and tony is honestly my favorite, and since the show really seems to have abandoned it of late I'm glad there are good authors, like you, who are able to capture it so perfectly!
