An interesting take on it, I like it. Usually Fem Bilbo fanfictions have Kili being firmly on Lady Bilbo's side during this series of event, to have him be grief stricken and against her is a rare and fascinating read.

So everything is set for Gandlaf dashing after Billa to tell her that Thorin is dying without her. She checks her bruised neck and asks - "why should I care?" and continues to the Shire ...
