Please continue this story. I don't care how long it takes but please finish it

I've read your story quite a few times, but now I've decided to actually review it. I'll be reviewing each chapter, so it'll take me awhile (possibly a couple of weeks to a month) to thoroughly read and review it all.

Allow me to start by telling you I consider your story the "Gold Standard" of Explorers of Sky fanfiction. Your story is what I'll be comparing my own to when I finally manage to find the self-discipline and motivation to write my own (and will be heavily inspired by yours).

Firstly, your writing is definitely topnotch. Everything flows so smoothly. There's this really perfect balance of dialogue and description that keeps the story moving while still clearly outlining the surroundings and what's going on.

Second, I really like how you chose to narrate from the partner's POV. I haven't seen too many stories that do this, and of the ones I've read before, yours definitely does it the best. Not enough stories really emphasize that cowardly, insecure nature of the partner character, and those that do don't tend to be consistent or have the partner character develop their confidence a bit too quickly for my tastes. I also like how Fee has this natural hero instinct, going out to rescue the currently unnamed but soon to be named player character.

Third, I find your Koffing and Zubat well-done. You made them seem nastier while also giving them a bit more of their own characters, I think. I liked how Koffing and Zubat were arguing with one another about what to do after stealing Fee's treasure.

Fourth, I like how your chapter follows the same beats as canon but does it in a different and interesting way. For example, the player character clinging to a piece of wood at sea instead of washing up on the beach. Or how Koffing and Zubat mug Fee before the player character is even awake or knows what's going on.

There's probably a lot more good things I could say just about this chapter, but I'll stop here because I think those four points encompass most of what I want to convey.

I'm a bit late right now huh? Well, I guess I'm still leaving this here.

One word: I love it.

Yes, it's three but that doesn't matter. Every character was genuinely interesting that I felt kind of empty for a while after finishing this. This won't get updates, I know. This review won't be seen either.

If the author reads this, I guess I'll say thank you? This story did give me some positive lessons in life. So wherever you are, whatever situation you're in right now, remember that you've helped this random person writing this paragraph. Be brave.

I only found this story recently and I realize it probably won't get any more updates... But HOLY COW THIS STORY IS AWESOME! The characters are full of depth, you've added layers and layers of detail to everything, and even side characters are getting development. Fee is cowardly at first, but she struggles to fix that and the last chapter proved she can succeed. Blue is fitting what a human turned Riolu would be, or at least what I feel they should be. Every step is different, but feels like a real world. You did that whist only two Pokemon having names. Maybe three for that Staraptor, or was it a Skarmory. Even the stuff you added feels like it belongs in the story and adds depth to the story. Especially if it's supposed to be another based on the Explorers games. Good job. I don't if you'll write more, but if you do i'll definitely take a look at it.

who drew the cover art?

This story had me pinned to my phone and desktop. Reading on the train to school, sitting in bed, or in the middle of the day instead of playing video games. It achieved the too good to put down cliche and I didn't want to at many points. Not having anymore to read creates an ache inside but I'd say that's a good sign. Take it as a compliment whether this story ever continues or not!

This is one great story. It may never get any new installments but I want to leave my words of appreciation.

Is this story dead? If so, I guess it can't be helped. Still, it's not often you find a story written this well!

I LOVE this story! To find a PMD story with non-Mary Sue characters is an Arceus-send! These Pokemon with their personalities you have given them, are incredibly amaizng to read about! I wish you would continue this, but it's purely your choice. Write On!
